BEN ANDRON - 1994, is a working writer in Los Angeles. He has written and produced several pilots for Disney TV Animation, as well as a few of his own projects. He has also written for the animated series "Friends and Heroes," which will air on the BBC and TBN. At the same time, he has written and produced theatrical trailers ("In a world..."), home video advertisements ("Buy it today on DVD!"), and extra features for DVD titles ranging from the Bette Davis collection to One Tree Hill (seasons 1, 2, & 3). Most recently, he produced the extra features for the 2-disc Pure Adrenaline Edition DVD of Point Break, starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. Ben also has a long history with the Hillel stage. Since his acting debut in 1988 with Oliver, he has performed in numerous Hillel productions (including Miracle Worker, Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Li’l Abner, Flowers for Algernon, Fantasticks, Harvey etc.), written several original plays for the Summer Stock program and Under the C+, and produced and directed numerous multimedia video segments for various shows. As one of the original Hillel Thespians, Ben is thrilled that the program continues to thrive, and looks forward to supporting the Hillel stage for years to come.

JONATHAN ANGRESS, 2006, began his career in the Hillel Community Theatre as a choral ensemble member in Shylock (2002) and then played The Fiddler in Fiddler on the Roof (2003), which was a dream come true. He has also been seen as Chief Sitting Bull in Annie Get Your Gun (2003), Joe Scanlon and The Gypsy Fiddler in The Matchmaker (2004), Uncle Chris in I Remember Mama, (2005), and various roles in Under the C+ (2006). However, Jonathan's two favorite roles would be Javert in Les Miserables (2005) and Gaston in Beauty and the Beast (2006). Jonathan is currently a freshman at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and a current member of Collegium Musicum at UM, The Miami Jewish Chorale, and the Frost Opera Theatre. He has been featured as an ensemble member in An Eye for American Opera (Fall 2006) and will be making his operatic debut as the comical Nejus in The Merry Widow this coming Spring. In addition to acting and singing, Jonathan also plays the violin and feels privileged to be studying violin in addition to voice at U of M. Jonathan plans to become a cantor in the future.
